Ingredients:
1c baby spinach leaves, washed and dried
3/4c cow's milk (1%) Note: If you substitute with almond or oat milk, look for no-sugar added, unflavored versions
1/2c banana
1/2c papaya
Directions:
- Place the spinach and milk into a blender and blend well. We recommend blending until all spinach is chopped finely and the liquid is green.
- Add the banana and papaya to the blender. Pulse until desired consistency is reached. We recommend a consistency slightly more watery than cow's milk yogurt (so that it is easily drawn up through a wide straw).
- Test before serving to your child. We recommend discarding of any unconsumed smoothie after an hour for food safety purposes.
